小朋友:「你剛剛講的話跟我阿公講的一樣。」
Kid:”Your answer is the same as my grandpa.”
我:「因為是真理啊，所以大部份人答案都一樣，就像統一布丁通常是黃色的一樣。」
I:”Because it’s true, that’s why most people give the same answer, just like most uni-president puddings are yellow.”
小朋友:「我XX家有養鸚鵡。」
Kid:”My XX have parrots.”
我:「鸚鵡?」
I:”Parrots?”
小朋友:「都是鸚鵡味，有一隻鸚鵡叫做麻糬(台語發音)。」
Kid:”There are smells of parrots, one parrot named Mochi.”
我:「嗯嗯。(心想:叫麻糬?鸚鵡感覺很堅硬一點都不柔軟)」
I:”Un….(Mochi? Mochi is soft but Parrot are not.)
小朋友:「另一隻鸚鵡叫作布丁，所以是麻糬和布丁。」
Kid:” And another parrot named Pudding, so there are Mochi and Pudding.”
聽到這邊我忍不住笑了，食物布丁與鸚鵡布丁的聯想真可愛，
只是我忘了問小朋友，那隻布丁是否也是黃色的呢。
